Arizona Becomes 22nd Coalition Member

Arizona Governor Jane Dee Hull
In March, Arizona Governor Jane Dee Hull accepted Chairman and Indiana Governor Frank O'Bannon's invitation to become the 22nd member of the Coalition.

"...Arizona is committed to the support of alternative fuels in our vehicles to address clean air challenges in this state. While there currently are no ethanol refineries in Arizona, the state is already a significant consumer of ethanol through oxygenated gasoline sold year-round in Maricopa County," wrote Hull. "The imminent availability of large numbers of new flexible fuel vehicles raises the opportunity for further improvements in our air quality by having E85 fuel available in the state."

Governor Hull appointed Sheldon Jones, Director of the Department of Agriculture, as her representative to the Coalition. Mr. Jones can be reached at 1688 West Adams, Phoenix, Arizona 85007, phone 602-542-0958, fax 602-542-5420.
