Limited Free Copies... Biofuels News
The second issue of Biofuels News is now available
in very limited quantities.
The spring
issue features some of the common and more unusual feedstocks that are
under consideration for use in producing biofuels such as ethanol. "What
does succotash have in common with a buttery movie snack, or hominy grits
with moonshine? They all leave behind a substance that is among the most
promising pieces in the puzzle of how to decrease global warming, reduce
the country's dependence on fossil fuels, improve the country's trade balance
and create American jobs in a new industry."
Other articles profile several private sector groups that support development
of these types of fuels, a listing of recent studies on biofuel development
and use and upcoming events and conferences. Biofuels News is a publication
of the National Biofuels Program in the Office of Fuels Development at
the U.S. Department of Energy.
