Adds Plant Incentives
Recently the state legislature and Governor William
Janklow acted to raise the amount of money available for the state's ethanol
producer incentive in order to include a new ethanol plant planned for
Huron, South Dakota.
The proposed 5-7 million gallon a year dry mill facility is expected to
be built following the extension of the federal ethanol tax incentives.
The state producer incentive provides for up to $1 million dollars per
year per ethanol producer, up to a maximum of $10 million per plant.
