The final meeting of Coalition members for 2000 will be November 8 and 9 in Des Moines, Iowa.

The public portion of the meeting will be held the afternoon of November 8, followed by a reception at the Iowa Governor's Mansion, Terrace Hill.

The Coalition's business meeting will be held the morning of November 9. Agenda items for the meeting include

• selection of officers for 2001 - Coalition Vice Chair and Nebraska Governor Mike Johanns is scheduled to become the new Chair of the Coalition,
• a discussion of fuel cell technology and developments,
• a discussion led by petroleum representatives on the obstacles in using ethanol on the East and West coasts and
• an update on federal legislative activity.
