The San Francisco Board of Supervisors has unanimously approved an ordinance that would prohibit the city from purchasing MTBE-blended gasoline for city-owned vehicles.  The city currently purchased 200,000 gallons of gasoline per month.  Final approval of the ordinance rests with Mayor Willie Brown.
