Next Coalition Meeting in Cedar Rapids June 22

The next meeting of the Governors' Ethanol Coalition meeting will be in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on June 22 at the Collins Plaza Hotel.  The meeting is being held in conjunction with the 1999 International Fuel Ethanol Workshop and Trade Show. 

Among the meeting's highlights:

• Former Central Intelligence Agency Director James Woolsey will discuss the significance of ethanol in the nation's domestic energy supply during the afternoon session.
• Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack will open the Fuel Ethanol Workshop Wednesday morning.  
• Updates on national, East and West Coast and reformulated gasoline issues are planned.
