Governor Paul Patton has awarded a $95,000 grant to the Hopkinsville Grain Elevator to finance a feasibility study for the production of ethanol. The elevator, a 2,200-member farmer cooperative, is working with Delta T Corporation to locate and build an ethanol production facility. The grant was made available through the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Business Opportunity Grant Program.
