New Plant Opens in Missouri

The opening of Golden Triangle Energy Cooperative represents the second ethanol production facility in Missouri. The facility, located in Craig, Missouri, produces 15 million gallons of ethanol annually from 6 million bushels of corn. "Thanks to the dedication of many farmers, public officials and others we've turned the dream of an ethanol plant in Northwest Missouri into a reality. The farmer-members of Golden Triangle Energy Cooperative are very proud of our new ethanol plant," said Byron Fink, GTEC President.
