General Motors Encourages Ethanol Use Among Employees

In an effort to encourage ethanol use, General Motors is urging employees driving company-owned flexible fuel vehicles to fill up with E85. Employees in Pontiac, Warren and Detroit can fill up at an Amoco station offering E85 in Rochester Hills.

"Using E85 makes sense because it is a renewable transportation fuel. Although General Motors's E85 compatible vehicles can use gasoline, we want to encourage the use of E85 whenever possible." said Tom Stephens, of General Motors.

"General Motors is pleased that British Petroleum is supporting General Motors in demonstrating our commitment to the use of renewable fuels by making E85 available for our fleet in metropolitan Detroit," said Dennis Minano of General Motors.
