Ethanol 2000 -- Announces Ground-Breaking

Ethanol 2000, a partnership of Southwest Minnesota Agrifuels Cooperative and Broin Enterprises, held a ground-breaking ceremony on May 18, 1996 for construction of a new ethanol plant. The plant will be built in Bingham Lake, Minnesota.

"We have a solid base of the best corn producers in Southwest Minnesota, joining hands with acknowledged leaders in the design and engineering of a state-of-the-art, 11.5 million gallon per year dry mill ethanol plant," according to Ethanol 2000's press release.
