North Dakota Seeks Renewable and Alternative
Fuel Research

The National
Alternative Fuels Laboratory at the University of North Dakota's Energy and
Environmental Research Center announced a request for projects relating to
renewable and alternative fuels-related research and development to be conducted
at its laboratories and testing facilities.
The National Alternative
Fuels Laboratory has approximately $100,000 available for cost-share funding. A
50 percent cost share will be required for full consideration.
According
to the notice, projects of highest priority include those which involve economic
analysis, testing, design, development, and feasibility work related to process
efficiencies, co- products, fuel performance and emissions, and waste processing
and management.
Industry and non-profit research entities must submit
proposals by June 14, 1996. Notification letters will be sent by July 1,
1996.
