Minnesota Celebrates Opening of 50th E85 Station

Cannon Valley Cooperative (Cenex) recently began operation of the State of Minnesota's 50th E85 fueling station. The station is Northfield, Minnesota's second E85 station. "We can improve air quality by making clean air choices, like E85 for flexible fuel vehicles. The automobile is a primary source of air toxics. and the issue will worsen as population and driving increase," said Tim Gerlach, American Lung Association of Minnesota Director of Outdoor Air Programs. "If we demand it, cleaner fuels and vehicles will be produced. the E85 example provides Minnesota a chance to change things for the better."
