According to industry sources and the National Ethanol Vehicle Coalition, America's automakers
will make three-quarters of a million cars, trucks and vans
in model year 2000 that can operate with up to 85 percent ethanol blended fuels or unleaded gasoline. If carmakers projections materialize,
E85 vehicles would continue their domination of the
alternate fuel market. Preliminary
